Sample Model Number Tags
Model numbers can be made up of numbers (1005400, for example) or a combination of letters and numbers (LAT1000AAE). The model number will most likely appear on either a paper sticker or a metal plate. Your appliance's model number tag may look similar to the sample model number tags shown here (model number highlighted in yellow):
This black dishwasher control panel serves as the main user interface, providing the buttons and display needed to choose wash cycles, options, and other functions. Designed to match the original look and fit, it replaces a worn or unresponsive panel to restore smooth operation and a clean, updated appearance. Installation is simple and typically involves removing the old panel and connecting the new one in its place, making it an easy way to get your dishwasher controls working reliably again.
How Buying OEM Parts Can Save You Time and Money

The “clean” light continually flashes. I replaced the control panel (part # ps11751241) and it still flashes and the dishwasher will not start
For model number MDBH969AWB2
Hi Jack,
Thank you for your question. If your clean light is flashing and the dishwasher will not start, there are some steps to try to see if you can resolve the issue. On the bottom of the dishwasher floor at the right front, you will find a float. When the float reaches a predetermined level, it shuts off the flow of water, thereby preventing a leak. Press down on the float. If it cannot move freely, the clean light will flash. Once you have checked out the float, you will need to make sure that the water supply for the dishwasher is on. Once you have verified that the water supply is on, check the inside of the dishwasher for soap suds and remove them with a cloth. You should always use the correct amount of soap for your dishwasher as outlined in your owner's manual. Too much soap may cause issues. Next, in this order, press the normal wash button and then the heated dry button twice. This should cause all of the lights on the dishwasher panel to light. If you have followed these steps and a wash cycle starts, you can let it continue if you have dishes in the dishwasher that you want cleaned. If not, press cancel. We hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day.

The unit has no lights or power to it, I have checked the power supply and it has power, would it be the control panel?
For model number Mdb6769awb3
Hi Shay, thank you for reaching out. Based on the description that you have provided, we would recommend checking the electronic control board, part number PS11752013, as it is the most likely cause of this issue. We hope this solves your problem!
Lights just flash, will not start. Someone said replace the control panel
For model number MDB6769AWS1
Hello Joe,
Thank you for your question. If the START/RESUME light is blinking, press START/RESUME and close the door firmly within 3 seconds. If there is still no change, you would need to replace the electronic control board under part PS11752013 for your model to fix the issue. We hope this helps!
Most of the lights continually flash on the control panel, unit will not start or do anything.

Hi Matthew,
Thank you for your question. If the dishwasher will not start, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. You will need to check the bi-metal fuse, the bi-metal clip, the heating element, the high limit thermostat, the electronic control board, the chopper assembly, the capacitor, the turbidity sensor, the power cord and the drain pump. We hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day.
