Model numbers can be made up of numbers (1005400, for example) or a combination of letters and numbers (LAT1000AAE). The model number will most likely appear on either a paper sticker or a metal plate. Your appliance's model number tag may look similar to the sample model number tags shown here (model number highlighted in yellow):
This stand mixer drive motor is a genuine OEM replacement designed to restore consistent performance in select Whirlpool, KitchenAid, and compatible stand mixer and grinder models. It converts electrical energy into mechanical motion, powering the mixing mechanism for tasks such as blending, kneading, and whipping. Engineered for durability, the motor supports stable operation, reduces vibration and noise, and enhances overall efficiency. It replaces several older part numbers and is ideal for resolving issues such as intermittent operation, lack of power, or unusual motor sounds. Always verify compatibility using your appliance’s model number before installation, and follow safety guidelines when replacing the motor.
How Buying OEM Parts Can Save You Time and Money

Perfect repair part
Received the part and installed it right away. Works as good as if not better than the original. No real challenge to install, took a screwdriver and two bits (Phillips and a square) to do it. I suggest adding some quality grease to the gears as they work hard this time of the year.

Easy repair, worked as expected
This is a 2 speed motor, make sure you use an ohm meter to determine what winding is what speed. I compared resistance values to the old motor. The wires are in slightly different locations.

My mixer is working at Max speed regardless of the speed level i select. I replaced the speed sensor and control board and it did not fix the issue. Then i realized there is a magnetic ring in the shaft inside the motor that works together with the sensor (hall effect). That magnetic ring is broken. Am i right to assume that is the issue? Is there a way/part to replace only that without having to change the motor? I have not used the mixer that much so the motor is in perfect state besides this.
For model number KP26N9XER
Hello Matias, Thank you for your inquiry. We show that part is only sold as part of the motor assembly. Hope this helps!

My kitchen aid mixer doesn’t go around. It makes a humming noise but that’s it. What part should I order?
For model number Ksm150apscs
Hi Juliane, thank you for contacting us. If the attachment or the mixing bowl is not properly installed or is interfering with the mixer's movement, it can cause a humming sound. Ensure that everything is properly fitted and secure. If you are trying to mix a heavy or dense mixture, the motor might struggle and produce a humming noise. Try reducing the amount of ingredients you are mixing at a time. If you are mixing tough ingredients or kneading a heavy dough, the motor might be straining. This can produce a humming sound. Consider allowing the motor to rest for a few minutes and then continuing. If this does not help, sometimes, a humming noise can be caused by the need for lubrication in the motor or gears. We recommend replacing the gear, part number PS11748374, and re-pack with grease. We hope this sorts out your problem!
