Looking to purchase control panel WPW10175226 (black) per PartSelect part breakdown. My concern is that if I replace this part and then it needs a control board as well which then makes the repair not feasible from a cost perspective. Is there any easy way to diagnose the control board to tell if it still works? We bought the dishwasher new and up until a week or so back has worked flawless. But the buttons quit working and it won’t cycle thru anything and almost all lights are on. I have tried all the methods to reset and have even disconnected the connection at the control board. That is when I noticed the control panel ribbon appears darkened across it which make me think it may have shorted and is bad so I do feel like the control panel needs replacing, but now I question if it is worth it to risk purchasing it only to find out the control board may be bad as well. Also what, if any, is your return policy for a part like the control panel? Any advice is appreciated. Would like to make decision today to fix or junk.
