DRAIN FILL HOSE WOULD NOT STAY ON THE FAUCET
this is a portable unit the wood top is removed this allows access to the side cabinet screws and the lower front trim screws behind the lower front trim panel you can access the hose connections disconnect and reinstall new part works great!

Faucet adapter leaks due to torn seal in adapter
I only really needed the lip seal that fits in the faucet adapter. After much research I discovered that the seal was simply not available. I tried to substitute a standard O-ring of the correct size, but it was too thick and did not allow the adapter to snap on to the faucet.

... Read moreelect.com, and received it quickly. I used a small screwdriver to remove the seal from the new hose assembly, and installed it in my existing hose assembly. The seal was a perfect match with the old one, it fit perfectly, and no more leaks.
Be careful not to damage the new seal when you are removing it. Also, be advised that if you choose to replace the entire hose assembly that you may need to replace the areator on your faucet, in this case the new hose would not fit on the existing areator, but fortunately the seal was a perfect match.

badly damaged gasket
the coupling for the water hookup for my rollaway dishwasher was very badly damaged. After looking everywhere including authorized dealer and repair places, on-line at the manufactures parts website, I finally broke down and ordered the entire hose assembly. the hose wouldn't grip the faucet anymore it would fall off.
i took the dishwasher apart, took off the old hose and replace it with the new one. it was real easy. i smiled as my two yr. old tried to help me . i'm sure i'll be odering other parts in the future.

Faucet connection leaking, door leaking
Use towels to catch water that spills from unit. Lay unit on side to expose bottom. Remove plastic retainers, rear wheels, and bottom cover. Disconnect inlet and discharge hoses. Tie pull cord onto each hose separately. Temporarily re-install rear wheels. Set uinit upright. Remove two star screws from underside of wooden top. Slid
... Read moree top forward to release and remove top. Remove tie strap holding hoses to inner bracket. Lay unit on side again and pull hoses out. Remove discharge hose first to allow removal of inlet hose from plastic housing on back of unit. Tie pull cords to new hoses. Pull new hoses into unit. Reconnect hoses. Turn unit upright. Replace tie strap on bracket with new hoses. Hoses are marked as to where they should be secured to the bracket. Replace top. Remove old door gasket by pulling from one end of gasket. Clean gasket groove. Push new gasket into place. Close door to seat gasket. Remove and replace faucet adapter kit. Run unit and check for leaks. Lay unit on side, remove rear wheels, replace bottom cover and plastic retainers, reinstall rear wheels.

Hi there, I just bought a Maytag portable dishwasher from an Estate sale and cuppler/hose connect seems quite old and keeps popping off our our faucet when the water starts at a higher pressure. The faucet attachment is fine (we even bought a new one to make sure of it). Will this hose part work for this model?

The gasket that fits into the end of the fill/drain assembly hose is missing causing it to leak when connected to faucet. Can the gasket be bought separately or do i need to replace the whole drain/fill assembly hose. It is for a Maytag portable dishwasher.

Hello Dianna, thank you for your question. Unfortunately, the gasket that goes inside the adapter on the hoses is not sold separately. The fill/drain hose assembly, which is PartSelect Number PS11749861, would have to be replaced. I hope this helps!
I just got a GE pot scrubber portable dishwasher. Dont see a model number on it anywhere, but how do i connect it to faucet?
Hello Scott, thank you for your question. Here are some instructions we have found for you!
Loosen the aerator from the spout of the kitchen sink. Use a pair of pliers if necessary. Unscrew the aerator and store it in a safe place for future use.
Screw the special faucet adapter that was included with your portable dishwasher onto the threaded faucet spout. Turn on the hot water at the kitchen faucet, and allow the water to run until it is hot to the touch. Turn the water faucet off.
Roll the dishwasher over next to the sink. Pull the hoses from their storage compartment on the back of the dishwasher. Position the collar on the end of the hoses directly beneath the adapter on the kitchen faucet spout. Push the collar ring downward, and slide the collar onto the faucet adapter before releasing the collar ring. The collar should be securely attached to the faucet. Turn the hot water to the faucet back on.
Plug in the dishwasher's electrical cord to a nearby AC outlet.
Load the dishwasher, select the desired wash cycle, and start the dishwasher.
