Model numbers can be made up of numbers (1005400, for example) or a combination of letters and numbers (LAT1000AAE). The model number will most likely appear on either a paper sticker or a metal plate. Your appliance's model number tag may look similar to the sample model number tags shown here (model number highlighted in yellow):
This tray rotates in your microwave ensuring more even temperatures. It is used to hold containers and plates of food or beverages that you heat up inside of the appliance. If you notice that the tray is no longer able to turn on its own or has broken, it may need to be replaced. This part is made of clear glass and is approximately 13 inches in diameter and weighs approximately 3.504 lbs. There are no tools required to complete this repair. Simply place the turntable tray on top of the turning device in your microwave and dispose of the old plate.

Glass tray broke for some unknown reason.
Make sure to have your model number correct. First tray I purchased I didn't use the model number and just picked what I thought would work (KitchenAid), but didn't. Second attempt I put in the model number and received the correct one. Take out of the box and into the oven, that easy.

The glass tray broke while baking a potato.
Removed broken pieces. Ordered new glass tray. The tray came with excellent packing and double-boxed so there was no damage in transit. All I had to do was place the new glass tray onto supports in the oven.

My microwave is missing the glass tray but is there a part that goes with the tray? Something that makes it turn? We purchased this many years ago and never installed it so i do not recall, but i know that the tray broke somewhere along the line, now its installed and i can't figure out the turntable needs? The pic here shows 12 inches but mine measures 11 inches.

Hello Leanne, Thank you for writing. The tray that you had put in as a replacement sounds like it was not the same as the original. We sell only the original factory parts, and the correct Cooking Tray is PartSelect Number PS11744901. The is a small part that fits directly in the middle that allows the tray to turn. This is a Turntable Shaft PartSelect Number PS11749032. And there was a Turn Table Ring PartSelect Number PS391042, but the ring is now discontinued. Good luck with your repair.
