I need the defrost timer but cant find it in your part selection
For model number mf12568aeb
Hello Thomas, thank you for your question. The defrost timer on this unit is part of the main electronic board. It is not a separate individual part for this model. The part number is PartSelect Number PS11759800. Please enter the part number into the site for current price and availability. Good luck with your repair!

The freezer only gets to 22 degrees, the air openings in the rear of the freezer section seem to have ice over the coils. I just replaced the door gasket, and the door is sealing properly now. What else would cause it to ice up and not get colder?
For model number GI5SVAXVL00
Hello Christy,
Thanks for your question. You may want to test the thermistor with a multimeter for electrical continuity. Replace it if it shows no continuity. Consider testing the capacitor from the compressor as well and the condenser fan motor.
I hope this helps.

Why did my freezer just stop working but refrigerator still works could it be the thermostat defrost?
For model number MF12569VEN2
Hello Dan, thank you for writing. It could be the Evaporator Coils PartSelect Number PS2004021. Or, Evaporator Fan Motor PartSelect Number PS11728128. and lastly, the Defrost Heater Assembly PartSelect Number PS11738605. It is unclear if the defrost thermostat will stop the freezer from freezing.Good luck and have a great day.

My refrigerator stop working. The lights inside the fridge are on. When I unplug and plug in the lights around the water and ice dispenser are flickering on and off and at the same time I hear some clicking noises on the back of the fridge. Is it possible I need to replace the defrost timer?
Please, advise
