Range Interior Oven Door Glass WP4449253

My interior oven glass broke when I used a cool washcloth to wipe hot glass. I know, dumb! It was the lower oven which mostly gets used during holidays when I’m doing more cooking. I waited to fix it since I still had the upper oven to use. I finally decided to fix it and ordered on PartSelect. The glass came in a timely manner, well packed and intact. There was an instructional video on the product page. The video was very easy to follow and within 30 minutes, my interior oven glass was replaced. I was glad I was able to avoid labor cost of my appliance guy and do it myself.

Part came as expected and oven now works like a charm.

Part was perfect. My older oven however didn’t come apart the same way the instructions implied; either from PartSelect or the manufacturer. Once figured out, pretty easy to repair.

I definitely did not want to replace the oven, this oven is one of the older whir-pool versions that is heavy duty and extremely durable with a self cleaning option. They don't make these anymore. My husband and I decided to just replace the cracked glass instead of the entire oven. Worth it! One less project to worry about in our fixture upper :-)

When I broke the glass in my oven I was devastated. But the repair was made easy and quickly. I was able to identify the needed part and have it delivered to my home within a few days. My husband watched the video and followed the steps. I’m back to baking cakes and ziti for my grandchildren! Thank you!!

The part came quickly. I looked at a video online to see how to install it and I had it done in 45 minutes........and I'm a girl with minimal knowledge in this type of thing. Saved me a lot of money by not hiring a mechanic to do it.

Part fit perfectly. It was back ordered but still received within 2 weeks. Tracking number provided for shipping did not work as just got a message that status was not available.
