Can you tell me what this part look like. I would like to make sure i am ordering the right part

Hello Spencer, thank you for your question. This part is a metal box, measuring about 5 inches by 4 inches. It has a white plug in with two metal prongs on the side of it. It is located in the cabinet of the microwave. If this part goes bad, the unit will not heat food, and might also make a humming sound. I hope this helps!

How do I remove the frame on microwave so I can get to the magnetron unit to replace it? Is it behind the control panel? If so, how do I remove the control panel?

Thanks for your question. Only a licensed technician should attempt to install or replace this part, as your microwave's internal components can contain electrical charges even with the microwave unplugged. One would need to remove the oven door and the cover on the right-hand side of the microwave, then discharge the capacitor.
