Removed the upper back plate from the dryer with a 1\4 inch
nutdriver.
Removed the knob from the start switch.
Disconnected the electrical connections from the back of the switch.
Rotated the switch slightly clockwise to release the locking tab and removed the switch.
... Read more >To install the switch place the switch tab slightly to the right of the tab insert.
Rotate the switch assembly counter clockwise until the locking tab locks in place.
Reconnect the electrical connectors.
Reinstall the back plate on the dryer
Reinstall the knob onto the switch.
Reconnect the dryer to the wall.

pull off switch knob
remove two screws at corners of control unit
pull unit toward you to remove
flip over and remove panel
unscrew switch then twist switch to remove from face on control unit
holding new switch next to old, remove wires from old switch and insert onto new switch

Install screws
replace panel, flip back over
position control unit and slide back to lock in place
screw in corners
replace switch knob
plug in dryer
test switch
