Dryer would not heat.
Watched on-line video on how to disassemble and test heater element, thermostat, and hi-temp shut down. Heater element was open. Ordered new heater element. Re-installed heater element iaw video provided with parts. Video provide was one of the best I've seen. Explanation on releasing access panel was especially helpful.

How do I get this front panel to open?
For model number MEDB765FW0
Hello John,
Thanks for your question. Unplug the machine. You will need a putty knife. Three inches in at the sides of the panel you will find a hidden spring clip. Press on it and push down on the panel, then pull out on the top of the panel when the clips are disengaged. Lift the panel off the bottom clips.
I hope this helps.
Does the spring retainer/clip part # ps11741425 also used to hold the top or lid down on to the front panel?
For model number 110.66962500
Hi John, Thank you for the question. Yes the clips are the same for the front panel and lid. Hope this helps!

Kenmore Elite Electric Dryer: Where exactly does the Dryer Retainer Spring clip attach? For my model it is identified as the #12 Clip, Exhaust. It should be clipped somewhere on the exhaust pipe, but the Bulk Head diagram does not show me where to put it.
For model number 11062062100
Hello DE, thank you for reaching out. The retainer spring clip shown at #12 is at the bottom of the access panel on top of the exhaust duct. We hope this information helps!
