The digital read-out controls mounted in the top of the refrigerator will not allow adjustments to the temperatures in the freezer or the refrigerator. It is locked at 1 on the freezer and 41 on the refrigerator.I have replaced the thermistor and the defrost thermostat. What now?
For model number 10654204300
Hello Garry, Thank you for the question. This normally indicates the Control Board is defective. I looked up the part and it is listed as No Longer Available/Discontinued sorry. There are no part substitutions listed. My suggestion here would be to call the manufacturer and see if they can provide you with a substitution for these part numbers. Hope this helps!

My KSRG22FKWH02 had some issues. I fixed some components and now it runs. Now the only problem is after 10 hours exactly, the outlet breaker trips.
This tells me it something with the defrost circuit. I can’t find specs, but the defrost coil (when disconnected) tests at 28ohms.
The sensor that shuts off the defrost cycle early with pink/brown wires has just been replaced and tests good.
How can I tell if I need to replace the defrost coil or the control board? Or even something else?
I believe there was multiple failures due to constant power surges and losses over the years.
Thank you
For model number KSRG22FKWH02
Hi J, thank you for getting in touch. If your refrigerator regularly trips the circuit breaker, your circuit may be overloaded. Try unplugging other appliances to solve the issue. First, you may need to check the wiring and make sure no part is grounded in the refrigerator. If that is not causing the issue, then you may need to check the defrost heater, part number PS11740458, as it can trip the circuit breaker when it turns on if there is an overload. We hope this helps!
