Does part number ps11730898 come with all the items shown in this illustration? I think i only need item #6 which is broken

Hello Han, thank you for your question. The Part #: PS11730898 is the mounting hardware kit for the unit to be mounted under the counter. The item # 6 is the vent, and that is sold separately. The grille vent in black is PartSelect Number: PS11755257 the grille vent in white is PartSelect Number: PS3508056 and the vent in bisque is PartSelect Number PS3508071. I hope this helps.

Do I need the mounting plate and template and top mounting screw to install my microwave? I already purchased the installation kit and bracket. I just want to be sure I have everything I need.

Hello Tina, Thank you for the question. The Hardware Kit has everything needed to mount to the wall. If you are mounting from the top into a cabinet, you will need the Top Mounting Screw. The Template is not included with the Hardware or Mounting kit so it is also required. We hope this helps!

Demo stove exhaust fan and tile backsplash, install over range microwave, rotate exhaust fan and adjust exhaust plenum.
Whirlpool Microwave was purchased as used item, so installation in a new location required purchase of mounting template, wall bracket, mounting hardware. Granite backsplash cut out using wet/dry diamond blade and Ryobi 6.5 inch saw. Microwave exhaust fan removed and rotated for upward exhaust using modified exhaust plenum from existing stove exhaust hood. Installation of Microwave was the simplest part of the job. All mounting materials worked as required. A list of the materials provided in the hardware mount kit would be helpful, I would not have had to order the top mount screws separately if it was clear that they were included in the kit. Otherwise, no complaints.
Very easy repair because I had no parts for the job. I did not do the repair because PartsSelect keeps sending me the wrong parts and they do not have a human available to solve my problem. To make matters worse they will not refund my money.
