GE Refrigerator Repair
I could not get this part anywhere, not even directly from GE, because it was on backorder until October. Partselect not only had it it in stock, it was shipped immediately and received two business days later. It was a genuine GE manufactured part, in original packaging, exactly as represented on the Partselect website. Installed the following day, and now my beautiful ‘fridge is back up and running! Thank you, Partselect.

Interesting
I bought a GE refrigerator and a extended warranty form the department store. I had a problem with the ice maker not working properly. A technician came from Port Jervis, NY and told us we needed a new Fan Gasket Assembly, which he had to order. After many weeks of waiting for the part, I was told that it was on "Back Order" from GE and they didn't know when they were going to receive the part. I found your web-site and ordered the part and had it in 4 days. I had the tech install the part and the ice maker works fine. I gave the tech. your web-site and hope they will be buying parts from you now. Very happy I found your business, than you.

Fridge making a loud humming noise. When I press on the casing behind the fridge drawers it goes away. Will changing the fan resolve the problem? What fan is that?
For model number PYE22KSKBSS
Hello Ryan, Thank you for your inquiry. The condenser fan is the fan at the back of the refrigerator near the compressor. The fan behind the crisper drawers and evaporator cover in the refrigerator section is the fresh food evaporator fan. There is also another evaporator fan motor in the freezer section. We would also recommend checking the vents to make sure they are not blocked. We hope this helps and if you need help placing an order, customer service is open 7 days a week. Please feel free to give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you!
My GE frig was making a loud humming noise for a couple of weeks and now the upper section of the frig is not cooling and the humming noise has gone away. The freezer section of the frig continues to function as designed. Is the condenser fan the issue?
For model number CYE22TSHHSS
Hi Jeff, thank you for getting in touch. The issue could be with the condenser fan, but before replacing it, we would recommend checking the evaporator fan motor, part number PS12727431. When it fails, the freezer stays cold because it is the source of the cooling, but the upper section becomes warm because air can no longer be pushed up there. We hope this solves your problem!
The fan motor displayed in this listing, is it the condenser fan for the model refrigerator in question? Item #410
For model number Gfe26gmhces
Hi Carlton,
Thank you for your question. This is the evaporator fan for the freezer section of the refrigerator. The part number for the condenser fan motor is WR60X23363. We hope this helps!
