Dishwasher will not drain completely at end of cycle. It will drain if you start another cycle. I replaced the pump and checked the drain hoses. Does it need a control panel?

Thanks for your question. It could be worth checking and replacing the filter basket as well, part number PS11759673. You may also want to test the turbidity sensor, part number PS11757214, by checking it with a multimeter to test for continuity. Replace it if it shows no continuity.

Does the control board kit w10804121 come with the wires as well? Ours shorted out and the wires were damaged.

My dishwasher bad not been trying the dishes at all. I have replaced the heating element and thermostat. My heating element still does not get hot, the water is only tap water warm and my dishes are still wet after the cycle is complete. Is my next step to replace the control board? Thank you.

Thank you for your question. If you are also using rinse aid when you do your dishes then it may be your control board that is the issue. Other than there being something wrong with the wiring, that is the only other part that I could think of that would cause that issue. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

my Whirlpool model WDF510PAYS6 dishwasher is not running the wash cycle. The control panel works, and the pump runs at the start of the cycle, but no water enters and the pump doesn't run during the wash cycle. The soap dish opens, the heating element works during the drying cycle, and the cycle complete lights go on after several hours.
Does this mean I need a new circuit board (your part no. PS11722936) or is there something else I should look at?

If this does not help, it is the water supply issue and the water inlet valve, part number PS12578165, is most likely faulty.
