Sample Model Number Tags
Model numbers can be made up of numbers (1005400, for example) or a combination of letters and numbers (LAT1000AAE). The model number will most likely appear on either a paper sticker or a metal plate. Your appliance's model number tag may look similar to the sample model number tags shown here (model number highlighted in yellow):
This refrigerator door gasket assembly is a critical component designed to maintain the internal temperature and energy efficiency of compatible refrigerators. Engineered to form a tight, reliable seal around the door frame, it prevents warm air from entering and cold air from escaping, thereby supporting optimal cooling performance and food preservation. Constructed from durable, flexible materials, this OEM replacement is built to withstand repeated door openings and temperature fluctuations. Over time, gaskets can wear out, leading to poor sealing, increased condensation, frost buildup, or higher energy consumption. Replacing a worn or damaged gasket with this high-quality assembly helps restore proper door function, enhances energy efficiency, and extends the life of the appliance.
How Buying OEM Parts Can Save You Time and Money
Why buy the real thing?

Two questions:
1. Is this the correct right side gasket for my model?
2. Why does the 360 photo show a gasket that is "rounded" instead of rectangular?
For model number LFXS26973D
Hi Alan, thank you for reaching out. Yes, the door gasket you have mentioned is correct for your model. The 360 photo is the same gasket, just the photo captured in the round shape, so that users can view it at different angles. We hope this information helps!

How difficult is it for an amateur to replace the two door gaskets on this French door refridgerator?
For model number LFCS25426S
Hello John, Thank you for your inquiry. You would need a flat blade screwdriver to insert into the seam and pry the old gasket out. The new gasket should simply insert into the grove on the door. We hope this helps. For the left hand door, you may need a Phillips screwdriver to remove the screws on the flapper to take the gasket out. We hope this helps with your repair.
