I want to replace part ACQ87414602, the display cover assembly but I don't want to buy it until I know how to replace it. I can't find instructions anywhere on how to do it ??

This is a 9 yrs. old LG. My ice maker makes ice! Will this part solve my ice dispensing problem from my auger ice bucket and through the chute into my tumbler? I've just replaced my auger motor with a new one, and that's not the problem. The ice bucket's unjammed as well. Auger motor initially wants to run, then makes that normal initial noise and quits as if it's getting stuck in it's cycle! It then hums while depressing the dispenser with your hand or a glass. Releasing it, then it sounds with a click. What could the issue be?!

If you have already replaced the auger motor, then you may have received a faulty motor, or there could be an issue with the ice bucket itself, the dispenser control assembly or the main control board. Check the boards for any visible damage or loose connections. We hope this helps.
Hello Alan, thank you for your question. The water dispenser housing is part number ACQ87414602. This is the compatible stainless steel housing and comes with the lever and other internal parts. I hope this helps!
