Sample Model Number Tags
Model numbers can be made up of numbers (1005400, for example) or a combination of letters and numbers (LAT1000AAE). The model number will most likely appear on either a paper sticker or a metal plate. Your appliance's model number tag may look similar to the sample model number tags shown here (model number highlighted in yellow):
This dual light socket powers the interior bulbs in a refrigerator or freezer, helping keep the compartment brightly lit so items are easy to see. Designed to hold two bulbs, it provides stronger illumination and is often replaced when the lights flicker, fail to turn on, or the socket becomes damaged. Installation is straightforward: unplug the appliance, remove the screws or release the tabs holding the old socket, disconnect the wiring, and snap the new socket into place before reconnecting the harness.
How Buying OEM Parts Can Save You Time and Money
Why buy the real thing?
OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer. Simply put, this means that the company who made your appliance is also supplying the replacement part for it.

Whatever
It was supposed to be the same socket however, it was a larger version but it worked so that’s all that matters.

Light is not working, bulb is okay. What is the problem? Could you send me how to change the Light socket Video?

We look forward to hearing from you!
Lights will not work - tested these sockets, the bulbs, and even the switch and everything works correctly and has continuity. What else could it be?

The dual socket on the refrigerator side lights intermittently and seems loose. Is this a common problem? Will replacing the socket fix the issue?
