This is a genuine manufacturer sourced replacement brush holder is generally used with Dewalt as well as Black and Decker power tools. This item secures the carbon brush around the armature to provide stable physical contact. This holder is made out of plastic with metal and it is sold individually. Please note, carbon brushes are sold separately. To replace this assembly you would need a screwdriver. • First remove the housing screws • Remove the housing • Carefully remove the brush • Remove old brush holder • Secure the new holder in place • Reassemble and test the tool
