This burner control knob is a genuine OEM replacement part that is compatible with range cooktops. It is made of stainless steel and has a diameter of approximately 2 inches. It also features a grip for easy handling. The knob controls the flow of gas to the burner and this allows users to regulate the amount of heat produced by each burner. You can find each knob on the front panel or surface of the cooktop. Over time, it is normal for the knob to become loose or damaged. If the knob is faulty, it will become difficult to turn or it will make a clicking sound work when you attempt to turn it. Remove the faulty knob by gently pulling it away from the cooktop. Inspect each knob for signs of a fault. Each burner knob is sold individually

The knobs are falling of the stove. It seems the little metal insert that fits inside the knob are coming out. Is there a replacement for the insert?

How does this part attach to my stove?

Thank you for the question. The knob just slips onto the shaft. Line up the D shape in the back of the knob with the D shape on the shaft that comes out from valve behind the panel and push it on.

Looking for replacement knob. I first searched by the knob part number w10594481 cav3. Some replacements indicated although they were replacement part wpw10594481 they fit while others said they don’t. Your part looks identical so just confirming it will fit.
