Replaced the control panel by first loosening all of the fasteners on the door panel, I removed all but two at the very bottom this helps when you go to re install them. Hole and door alignment is not an issue. I took pictures with my camera phone and marked the placement of the wiring to make sure I knew how it was supposed to go together.

TURN OFF THE POWER TO THE DISHWASHER.

Un plug all of the harnesses being careful not to damage them. DO NOT FORCE! Take a look at the releases on the plugs and release all that you can. Take more pictures if you need to!

The main control logic board needed to be taken off first then the board with the ribbon cable and the actual controls. Press the latter into the new control panel so that the switches operate correctly. Try a couple controls before declaring victory. Fit the main logic board and snap it in place. Fit the entire assembly on the door and attach the power wires to it.

Attach the screws you removed being careful to insert them all and get them started before final torquing. Verify all alignments clean up the door where you can and tighten the screws gently DO NOT OVER TORQUE!

Bask in the afterglow of a job well done! $75 good as a new one that cost $775 in 2003!
