Why does water leak inside?
For model number ZW5000
Hello David, Thank you for the question. Leaking can be caused by improper installation of the appliance. The unit should be tilted from the front (inside) to back (outside) by ¼” to ½”. If not water may leak inside the room. We hope this helps!

The side panels needed to mount the AC unit in the window were broken
This is a simple direct replacement: unscrewed the side screws attaching the old panels and frame in place. Replace with the new pieces. Time to install new parts and put the unit in the window was about 15 minutes. Most of the time was finding my screw driver.
