Belt is not broke but drum making a thumping and kind of a sand paper noise as it rotates!!

Hi Brian, thank you for reaching out. According to our research, if the drive belt has become brittle, inflexible, or frayed with age and use, it could cause a thumping noise. We would recommend checking the drive belt, part number PS11750135, for flexibility and brittleness. If the issue still exists, then you may need to check the following parts: drum support rollers, part number PS11752609, roller support tri-ring, part number PS11755850, and rear drum felt seal, part number PS8691753. Dryer works great with a very small load drum won’t turn if load is a bit heavier will move for couple of turns them stops take some stuff out and it goes again!!

If it is working well, then you need to check the drive pulley, part number PS11744884, drive motor with pulley, part number PS334304, and the bearing ring kit, part number PS334199. No Heat
First tried heating element and thermal fuse with no luck. Ordered thermal cutoff and fixed problem. Had I used an ohm meter first I would have determined problem before having ordered heating element and fuse, as both had resistance. I wast just lazy and ordered the took the most common failed components first before taking dryer back
