My dryer only dries clothes sometime what could be the problem

Hello John, thank you for your question. Looking at your model information there are a few parts that you should take out and test to see which one is giving you the issue. The first thing to check in this case would be your filter and the vent that leads to outside. Make sure nothing is blocking air flow to your appliance. Then check all your thermostats and thermal fuses. Cycling thermostat, part number PS11741405, Thermal Cut-Off Kit, part number PS334299, Dryer High Limit Thermostat, part number PS11742185, and the Thermal Fuse, part number PS11741460. You can test those parts with a multi meter, and they should be reading 0 ohms to be working correctly. If those parts are fine, you should then go on to testing your heating element as well. Part number PS1448173. You can also test that with a multi meter, and it should be reading between 0 - 50 ohms. Unfortunately the heating element has been discontinued and we have no known replacement listed in our system. You are welcome to contact the manufacturer of the part to see if they have recently released a new substitute, and then you are always welcome to check back to see if we carry the part. The dryer does give heat, but has stopped rolling.

Thank you for your question. If the dryer drum is not tumbling, the belt may have slipped off the pulleys. Here is a link to one of our YouTube videos that you may reference for information on how to install the dryer drum belt. The dryer in the video may not be the same as yours, but it will give you a general idea on how to install the part. We would also recommend checking the door switch and the drive motor. We hope this helps!
First tried heating element and thermal fuse with no luck. Ordered thermal cutoff and fixed problem. Had I used an ohm meter first I would have determined problem before having ordered heating element and fuse, as both had resistance. I wast just lazy and ordered the took the most common failed components first before taking dryer back

I ordered all the thermal sensors for the dryer. They arrived two days later and they were the correct parts. It took me about 1/2 hour to replace all three sensors and now the dryer works like new again. My wife was very pleased, so was I.
I basically took the back offo the drive, then detach the heating coil. Afterwards had to go back in and change the thermal regulator an the job was completed.
