When turning the cycle selector knob, it doesn't work with every click of the knob. I have had to spin the knob around several complete turns to get it to move to Perm Press. Sometimes it moves to the next one after 5 or six clicks, sometimes not. I've had this issue for a while but finally got around to trying to replace the knob. Yes I replaced the knob somehow hoping it would work. It didn't. Please help. It's driving me nuts. I feel like I'm spinning a roulette table when I go to wash clothes.

Hi Katy, thank you for reaching out to PartSelect. Based on the description that you have provided, we would recommend checking the water inlet valve assembly, part number PS3527446, as it is the most likely cause of this issue. If it is faulty, you may need to replace it. You will need to use a multimeter to verify which part is causing the issue. We hope this solves your problem!

water softener holds water after wash
For model number WT7600HWA
Hello Rodney, Thank you for your inquiry. Check for any blockages in the hoses leading to dispenser assembly and the water valve connector assembly, and thoroughly clean the dispenser with a cleaning brush to loosen any debris or residue that might have been left. If that does not fix the issue, you may need to replace the dispenser assembly, the water inlet valve, or the valve to dispenser inlet hose, or the dispenser drain hose. We hope this helps and if you need help placing an order, customer service is open 7 days a week. Please feel free to give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you!

Water overflow in washer basin
I diagnosed by running a full wash. I watched it and when the water should have stopped it kept running. I unplugged the washer from the power and the water kept running. This told me the inlet valve was the issue and not an electronic issue. I stopped the water by closing the water valve manually. Replacing the inlet valve was very easy
