My washer stops at the rinse cycle. I can hear the machine running but out doesn't advance on post the rinse cycle. The water is draining just fine . What would be the easiest and first thing to look at ? Also, don't get any error codes. The diagnostic shows everything it's fine. I'm at a lose please help

Thank you for your question. If the washer is stopping at the rinse cycle, the issue is either with the electronic control board or the water inlet valve. You will need to test the water inlet valve with a multi-meter. Here is a link to one of our videos on YouTube that you may use as a general reference on how to use one, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bWC44fHn0As. When you test the water inlet valve, ensure that you have unplugged your washing machine. The water inlet valve will most likely be found directly behind the hose connections. You will need to remove the rear panel in order to access it. Once you have located it, remove the valve in order to test it. Before testing it, inspect the screens inside the pump and the pump itself for any debris or damage. Be very careful when doing this as the screens cannot be replaced, and if they become damaged the entire valve will need replacing. Set your multi-meter to Rx1 and touch the probes to the terminals. The reading of a functional valve varies from model to model, refer to your owner’s manual to determine what your reading should be. If you do not receive the recommended reading, you will need a replacement water inlet valve. To verify if the electronic control board is the issue, you will need to inspect it for signs of damage, wear and burn marks. If it shows any of these signs, it will need to be replaced. We are getting black flakes on the clothes that is the size of confetti. They will shake off.

Hello, Thank you for your question. Looking at this model we I do show we have a symptom list for Marks being left on clothes and the part that is recommend to replace is the Pulsator Cap- Part#PS3525704. We hope this helps, good luck with this repair.

WHEN ON SPIN CYCLE IT MAKE'S A LOUD KNOCKING NOISE LIKE THE TUB IS HITTING THE OUTER HOUSING OF THE WASHER? IF I MOVE THE TUB FRONT TO BACK AND SIDE TO SIDE THE TUB ACTUALLY HITS THE BACK SIDE OF THE WASHER HOUSING.

Hello Todd, thank you for reaching out. It looks like your suspension assembly, part number PS3635695, is faulty and needs to be replaced. The suspension rod and spring assembly support the washer tub and keep it stable. We suggest you also inspect the clutch housing assembly with the mode shifter, as it connects the motor with the wash plate and shifts the drive system between agitate and spin. If the clutch housing assembly, part number PS11708484, is damaged, replace it. We hope this solves your problem!
While remove water pump found bunch of coins in pump. So getting new pump. But also found a washer on floor . Looks to be stainless steel an about 1" diameter with slightly round corners with 1/2" hole in center. Any idea what it could be? Was thinking a part off suspension?

Hello Wayne, Thank you for the question. This could be a blown fuse. The fuse for this model is built into the Main PCB Board and the Board may need to be replaced. We hope this helps!
I first tested the motor per the service manual. I checked the resistance between the terminals of the 3 pin connector. It's supposed to be 5-15 ohms. The motor checked out so I replaced the main electrical board. It turns out that wasn't the problem. After a brief web search I found out that the hall sensor (which is attached to the
... Read more motor stator) was the likely cause of the failure. I replaced that and everything works great now. And now I have a spare main board in case that ever fails. I also want to mention that I took the time to remove the dispenser box (where the water comes in and is directed to the different cleaning products) and cleaned it with a very strong bleach solution. It got rid of the mildew and funky smell. It seems that the fabric softener caused a lot of mildew to form inside the dispenser directly above the fabric softener tray. The bleach took care of that. This is probably something that should be done routinely to keep the mildew from forming.
Removed back of washer with screw driver, Removed outer motor cover with a 17 mm socket (1 bolt), Removed motor stater using 10 mm socket (8 bolts). Left motor plugged in and and tipped to the side exposing the sensor. Unplug and snap off sensor. Reassembled in opposite order. Machine works great. Very easy fix, and perfect fit on part.

... Read more of the machine (phillips head screw driver - 4 screws) ... Remove the exposed motor half (1 bolt - 17mm scocket) ... Loosen the motor stator that has the wired coils (10mm socket - 6 bolts) ... Hold motor unit to the side without disconnecting the wiring harness ... Disconnect the sensor wire connector and remove the old sensor ... Clip the new sensor in place (same position as the old one) and re-connect ... Reverse the assembly procedures ... This fixed the problem and the washing machine works like a new one ... The wife is HAPPY!
