I HAD MY WHIRLPOOL OVEN ABOUT 2 YEAR NOW, THE FIRST TIME I USE THE SELF CLEANING MOD TO SEE HOW IT CLEAN. AFTER IT WAS DONE CLEANING IT WON'T HEAT UP. I FOLLOW ALL THE STEP BEFORE STARTING THE CLEANING, AFTER IT WON'T HEAT I TURN OFF THE ALL THE POWER TO THE OVEN LET STAND FOR 30 MIN, RESET THE BREAKER AND STILL NO HEAT. SO I THINK THE ( THERNOSAT ) IS BAD. WHAT IS YOUR ANSWER.
For model number WOD51EC0HS02
Hello Kirk, thank you for contacting us. You suspected the right part. The most probable cause of the issue you described is a faulty thermostat, part number PS11742549. It trips when the oven overheats and sometimes after self-cleaning it remains tripped, not allowing the heater to turn ON. Please reach out to customer service if you need help placing an order, anyone will be happy to assist you. We hope that helps.

I have scratches in the bottom of my top oven. Can this be fixed without damaging the enamel coating? Can the top oven be replaced? Thx
For model number WOD51EC0HS02
Hello Gregory, Thank you for writing. If there are scratches, the enamel is already damaged and the scratch can not be removed. To replace the appliance we suggest contacting Whirlpool as we just carry the parts. We hope this helps!

Scratches in Surface
This product comes in a bottle with a brush like Liquid Paper. It goes on incredibly easy. A second coat might be needed. I wanted to prevent rust from setting in so I covered the scratches and dings. The paint is a little brighter since my washer is 10 years old but it still looks great.
