Dec 12 will be 3 years. Turkey day, press bake,350, pre heated just fine, bell rung at 350, but broil top rod won't turn off, bottom does, temp reads 350 but top rod is on( red ). Did test mode, heated up to 600 and turns off like it should. Everything works but top rod won't turn off when cooking. Top of stove works fine. Nothing burnt or black on board.

How do you clean the oven?
For model number WFE505W0HW1
Hello Connie, thank you for reaching out. Use the steam clean feature as soon as possible after spills occur. Allow the range to cool to room temperature before using the steam clean feature. After cooling, follow the following steps:
1. Remove all racks and accessories from the oven cavity.
2. For best results, pour 12 oz (355 mL) of distilled or filtered water onto the oven bottom.
3. The steam clean feature will take a total of 50 minutes. "End" will appear in the display at the end of the cycle.
4- Press the Cancel keypad at any time to end the cycle. The display will return to the time of day.
Some general instructions to clean the oven are:
1. Remove and clean oven racks; spray the oven interior with white vinegar or lemon juice; and wipe everything with a damp rag or dishcloth. Use a plastic scraper to remove stubborn spots.
2. Repeat this step until all of the baking soda paste is removed.
3. For tricky spots that are really tough to remove, you can apply a layer of the baking soda paste over the surface for 12 to 24 hours before wetting and scrubbing it off.
We hope this information is useful!

So I got a F3 E0 code and I have already tried replacing oven temp sensor. It's a whirlpool glass top. From my understanding I think one of the knobs is an infinite switch that has something to do with the oven? I tried switching it out with a aftermarket and tried resetting stove and it kicks on and starts preheating as should then hits me with errror for same code. I did notice in the aftermarket switch it said 2400w instead of 2700w I'm struggling to find the right part. Any help here would be greatly appreciated
For model number WFE505W0HW1
Hello Michael, thank you for getting in touch. The infinite switches in your model are used to control the cooktop surface elements and not the oven. The error code you mentioned indicates a problem with the temperature sensor or the oven's control board. As you have already replaced the temperature sensor, we would suggest checking the control board, part number PS16620242, to solve the problem. We hope this helps!

mice had made nests in the insulation wrap in the range
I numbered every part. ex: 1 L., for first part removed left side. I used a magic marker to circle the holes and wrote the number of screws used on the part, set the srews in a separete place, so that I new where these screws went to. The cleanup was pretty time consuming, but I was able to keep my stove, when every repairman I called to

fix my stove told me I was better off buying a new stove. ($600.00 stove 2 years old)Please Note: The insulation blanket needed for the entire stove is two pieces, the sides and top are one part # and the bottom and back, are another part #. I did not know this. I just purchased the top and sides. I got lucky, the back and bottom were still in good shape. So I guess I should have read the description of the part more carefully to see what it covers, before I ordered it. It took two people two hours to do the work, it was really nice to have an extra set of eyes, to remember what direction pieces of metal from the stove went. I would do it all over in a heart beat instead of buying a new stove.
