What does the thermal fuse do?

I am looking for the part that is not working to correctly light up the display panel

We have researched the model number you have provided and show the left front element as part# PS16543522, the right front element as part# PS11775308, the left rear and right rear elements as part# PS12348164, and the warming element in the center rear as PS11775227. I guess i should have asked this first. If you turn the temperature knob past a quarter of the way the element stays on without pulsing so the element gets hotter and hotter. Is this the element or a separate sensor?

The dual element switch is part# PS11754687, the switch for the smaller 6 inch elements is part# PS11740785, and the right front element switch is part# PS11740783. The dual element is part# PS16543522, the right front element is part# PS11775308, and the smaller left rear and right rear elements are part# PS12348164. You can test the switches and elements with a multimeter, and check the wiring connections for any loose connections or visible damage. Opened up the back of the stove. Unpluged the sensor. Replaced the sensor. Replace the back of the stove.

($600.00 stove 2 years old)Please Note: The insulation blanket needed for the entire stove is two pieces, the sides and top are one part # and the bottom and back, are another part #. I did not know this. I just purchased the top and sides. I got lucky, the back and bottom were still in good shape. So I guess I should have read the description of the part more carefully to see what it covers, before I ordered it. It took two people two hours to do the work, it was really nice to have an extra set of eyes, to remember what direction pieces of metal from the stove went. I would do it all over in a heart beat instead of buying a new stove.
removed the screws holding the back metal panel, this exposed the wires to the switch. tested the wires to find that they were live when the switch was in the off position. ordered a new switch. UNPLUGED THE STOVE. removed the knob on the front of the stove. this exposed 2 screws, removed screws and the switch came away from the stove. re
