The cooktop light remains on 24/7. All of the stove top switches are off and all plates are room temperature.
For model number WFE361LVS0
Hello Dennis, thank you for your question. You will need to test each burner element with a multimeter to see which limiter is stuck closed. First, take a picture of the wiring for reference. Then disconnect the wires and set the multimeter to read ohms. Check for continuity between 1b and 2b. If there is a reading between 0 and 1 ohm, then the switch has continuity. This means that the contacts are stuck closed, and the element will need to be replaced. Good luck with your repair.

Right rear burner went bad

heating element burnt up
first I pulled the stove from the wall. Then unplugged the stove from the wall (electric stove) for safety. then I removed the middle back panel screws(2) and then the panel. Turn off power. Removed front two screws above oven door jamb and lifted the top. Removed the bracket that holds the element against the glass top and removed the element.
