What is causing high pitched chirping noise when I’m not using oven? Oven still heats and when I turn oven on, chirping is much quieter. When I turn off oven it’s gets louder again.
For model number WFC310S0AS0
PartSelect logo
Hello Julie, Thank you for reaching out. The Range may chirp for a number of reasons. Control panel pressure is the most common. If the cooktop is continuously beeping, an object, liquid, or debris may be putting pressure on the control panel. Try removing any objects or wiping away debris. You can also try resetting the cooktop by turning off the circuit breaker for one minute, then turning it back on. The Oven may beep for a number of reasons, including preheating, timer, or temperature gauge alerts. Overheating or error code. If the oven is overheating or displaying an error code, it may be a sign that service is required. We hope this helps!
