I had a small backup of water, my dishwasher was running when this happened and started leaking water from below the front of door. Is this repairable?? I had a technician come out and he said it no longer holds water. The dishwasher is only 7 years old it came bran new when we built the house
For model number WDF520PADM5
Hi Sandra, thank you for contacting us. Based on our research, water first started leaking inside and then reached the bottom of the door. In this case, we have two probable faulty parts. One is a drain hose, part number PS2358130, and the other is a gasket, part number PS16221222. First, check for clogged drains, if any, before replacing the drain hose. If replacing the drain hose does not solve the problem, replace the gasket. If the issue still exists, there might be a leak in the inlet valve, part number PS12578165, which may need replacement. We hope this sorts out your problem!

Hello Vin, thank you for your question. There are a few parts we would recommend testing to determine the issue with this unit. They are PartSelect Number: PS11743423 Thermostat, PartSelect Number: PS8260087 element, PartSelect Number: PS12070543 turbditiy sensor and float switch PartSelect Number: PS11750031 first. If those parts are tested/replaced and are fine the issue would most likely be with the electronic control board. I hope this helps.
