glad on the top loader lid broke. would like to get a replacement glass. can you help please?

just popped the new one in, it took all of 3 seconds....the worst part was that the part was all Plastic and the replacement part cost close to $70 including Shipping. the part was no bigger than the Cap on a LG bottle of Orange Juice.....Ridiculous..
