I picked up a used microwave that came with the needed mounting plate but no screws
Based on my research, this over the range miscrowave should have come with 2 templates: 1 for the wall and 1 for the underside of the wall cabinet. The challenge was to measure every very aspect of that microwave in order to obtain placement specs for the mounting screws. Tip: I made the holes through the top cabinet bottom a little large

r than needed and used big washers with then for stability to gain the most "play" in the self aligning screws. Worked out well. Took 2 tries to get the wall plate perfect so have precision in mounting that piece.
