Broiler works on oven but baked setting doesn’t?

Hello Dan, Thank you for the question. We suggest testing the Bake Igniter. On a good igniter, there should be between 40 & 400 OHMS. A bad igniter will show no resistance or continuity or a low reading. We hope this helps!
took oven base plate out. diconnected ignitor , put new clips on neutral wire as per instructions, inserted new ignitor, put everything back, worked ok.

Read moreth the two screws, plug in the two wire clips to the safety valve just below the igniter and plug in the plastic clip with both wires going into it over in the corner of the stove, and replace the cover over that connection with the one screw, which you removed at the beginning of this process, and you're done.
