... Read moreobi sends their straight shaft with the new trimmer, and it turns in the opposite direction (counter clockwise) and is hard for me to get into the areas I need.
To correct this, I use the Oregon brand Gatorhead, which fits on the Ryobi with no modiification (easy) and the line comes in spiral discs which can work for either direction of trimmer head to dispense effortlessly. Now, I have a new curved shaft on a new trimmer with the head turning in the clockwise direction.
This item has been discontinued, so get it when you find one, and stock up on line discs too!
