Problem: Stop dispensing water and ice.
For model number RH25H5611SR

Hello Jose, Thank you for the question. If the Ice maker and the water dispenser are not getting water, we suggest testing the Water Valve. Set your multitester to the R X 1 ohms setting to test for continuity. Place each of the multitester's leads on a terminal. Your multitester should display a reading between 200 and 500 ohms. We hope this helps.

My ice maker is not making ice. I've changed the filter, unplugged and replugged, spoke with a tech who was not that helpful. I've read the manual and I still cannot figure it out. I cannot locate the 'test" button to reset it. Any advice you can give is appreciated.

Hello Loretta, Thank you for the question. The Ice Maker does not have a reset button. To reset you just unplug it for a few mins and plug it back in. If the Water Valve is working and sending water to the Ice Maker but the Ice Maker is not making ice, it sounds to be defective and should be replaced. We hope this helps!

How do I get the ice maker to function?
For model number RH25H5611SR
PartSelect logo
Hello Rick, thank you for your inquiry. To turn on your ice maker you have to first remove the ice bucket. Lift up, and then pull the bucket out slowly. There will be a button marked ICE, press and hold it for 6 seconds. Quickly put the ice bucket back in. Depending on the type of ice maker you have, whatever ice is in the ice maker will dump soon. We hope this information helps.

The fan behind the plastic panels sounds like it is hitting something. Rattle... The fridge is staying cool but the noise is getting louder. How do I replace it or should I call a service person? I purchased it on 10/21/15, is it still under warranty with samsung?
For model number RH25H5611SR

Hello James, thank you for contacting us. Based on our research, the issue is due to a faulty fan blade, part number PS4138405. You can get access to the fan blade by removing the back panel from the freezer section. Samsung provides a 1-year warranty for parts and labor, a 5-year warranty for parts and labor on sealed refrigeration systems only (compressor, evaporator, condenser, drier, and connecting tubing), and a 10-year warranty for parts, 5-year labor warranty on a digital inverter compressor only. We hope this helps!
