The freezer section does not drop down to temperature. When the refrigerator is reset the temperature display and the thermometer that I have in the freezer both read the same temperature. Once the freezer gets down to 25° the display on the refrigerator eventually drops to zero but the temperature in the freezer never gets below 25°

Hello Anthony, thank you for contacting us. The issue is probably related to faulty temperature sensors, part number PS4138689, and part number PS4138596. Please check the sensors with a multimeter and ensure their continuity. If this does not help, check the PCB with a multimeter to find the fault. OPENED THE LEFT SIDE REFRIGERATOR DOOR WHERE THE DEFECTIVE MECHANISM WAS. GOT UP ON THE FIRST STEP OF THE STEP STOOL,REMOVED THE PHILLIPS HEAD RETAINING SCREW FROM THE BROKEN PART.PUT THE NEW CLOSING MECHANISM IN PLACE AND RE-INSTALLED THE PHILLIPS HEAD SCREW. STEPPED DOWN FROM THE STEP STOOL AND SHUT THE REFRIGERATOR DOOR.
I simply removed the old container & carefully removed all built up ice from the area that was to house the new container. This site helped me find the correct container in minutes. Will definitely use them again.
