I have a code of 33E showing. Indicates a bad ice heater. What part do I need?
For model number RF26HFENDSR
Hi Lee,
Thank you for your question. The 33 E error code is letting you know that the fill-tube heater for the ice maker has failed. To remove the code, disconnect power to the refrigerator for 20 seconds and reconnect. If the code reappears, press and hold the upper left and right buttons on the dispenser control panel for 5 seconds and wait for the dispenser to run a diagnostic mode. If the code reappears after the diagnostic mode has completed, you will need to replace the fill-tube heater for the ice maker. We hope this helps!

My freezer temperature goes down to negative 20 to negative 30 but is set at 5.
This is a twin cooling unit. Is there a temperature sensor in the freezer or does the one inf the fridge control the freezer temperature as well RF26HFENDSR/AA?
For model number RF26HFENDSR
Hello Al, thank you for your inquiry. According to our research, the issue is with the freezer temperature sensor, part number PS4138666. It senses the temperature inside the freezer and sends information to the electronic control. Glad to be of assistance!

Evaporator frozen (refrigrator section) and allowing top section to lose cooling
This is the Samsung French door refrigerator style that so many people have complained about freezing up and not cooling the top section. I first changed out the defrost thermostat and this did not correct the problem. I done a quick resistance check on the temp sensor that's mounted on the evaporator itself. The resistance would change w

hen holding an ice cube on the sensor so I just assumed it was ok. PLEASE TAKE NOTE: When performing a resistance check on this sensor, make sure your readings match the Samsung temp/resistance chart in their literature. My sensor was way off calibration and was causing the freeze up. Its working as designed now and DW is happy again. Learn from my mistake.

Refrigerator was freezing food on the bottom shelves
It was simple. I pulled out the old seal from the track it was tucked in and put the new one in using a wood spatula to help along the folding part of the door that fits behind the other door. I replaced both seals under 15 minutes. I am a 63 year old female so I know if I can do it so can you!
