Freezer drawer is not cooling and the display, but the left frig door display says it's still -2F. The fridge is cooling and at the correct temperature 36F. When I removed the evaporator cover in the freezer, the top most coil was iced up but not the rest.

Hello Terry, thank you for writing in. The typical freezer factory setting is set at starting point at the recommended 0°F (-18°C). Check to see if the door seal is worn. Clean off the coils as dirty/frosty coils won’t cool down refrigerant. The freezer won’t cool well when the condenser fan isn’t running. If the evaporator fan is not running efficiently, that can impact the temperature as well. Good luck with this repair.

hen holding an ice cube on the sensor so I just assumed it was ok. PLEASE TAKE NOTE: When performing a resistance check on this sensor, make sure your readings match the Samsung temp/resistance chart in their literature. My sensor was way off calibration and was causing the freeze up. Its working as designed now and DW is happy again. Learn from my mistake.

Ice maker freezing over, causing ice to get stuck
Replaced parts, as ordered - very simple. Watched the video before hand. Found that existing assembly did not have the "Y" clip installed. Been making ice for three weeks with no freezing up (yet) - time will tell.

CLOSING MECHANISM BROKE IN TWO.
OPENED THE LEFT SIDE REFRIGERATOR DOOR WHERE THE DEFECTIVE MECHANISM WAS. GOT UP ON THE FIRST STEP OF THE STEP STOOL,REMOVED THE PHILLIPS HEAD RETAINING SCREW FROM THE BROKEN PART.PUT THE NEW CLOSING MECHANISM IN PLACE AND RE-INSTALLED THE PHILLIPS HEAD SCREW. STEPPED DOWN FROM THE STEP STOOL AND SHUT THE REFRIGERATOR DOOR.
