The top (refrigerator) keeps freezing more than keeping food cold. We have taken everything out of it....unplugged it let if all fully defrost & it worked a few days and is now doing it again? I have renters in this house. It was purchased in 2016. Any ideas what I can do before calling a technician?

Freezer is not cooling enough. It's reading about the same temps as the fridge and flex zone about 38 degrees F. I cleaned the compressor coils. Verified compressor fan and evaporator fan are both working. Purchased in 2016.

PLEASE TAKE NOTE: When performing a resistance check on this sensor, make sure your readings match the Samsung temp/resistance chart in their literature. My sensor was way off calibration and was causing the freeze up. Its working as designed now and DW is happy again. Learn from my mistake.
OPENED THE LEFT SIDE REFRIGERATOR DOOR WHERE THE DEFECTIVE MECHANISM WAS. GOT UP ON THE FIRST STEP OF THE STEP STOOL,REMOVED THE PHILLIPS HEAD RETAINING SCREW FROM THE BROKEN PART.PUT THE NEW CLOSING MECHANISM IN PLACE AND RE-INSTALLED THE PHILLIPS HEAD SCREW. STEPPED DOWN FROM THE STEP STOOL AND SHUT THE REFRIGERATOR DOOR.
