In middle of baking oven switched to top heating element getting hot. Now even when turn on bake the top heating element is only one that comes on.

Hello Andrea, If the Element switch to Broil without be switched to it, then you most likely have a malfunctioning control board. To verify if the board is causing the issue, check for signs of damage or burn marks. If it shows any of these signs, it will need to be replaced. I hope this helps!

What does code F3 mean on oven? When this code shows up door locks & temp goes very high then wont open till cools down.

Hi Margaret, thank you for reaching out. The error code F3 indicates that there may be a problem with the oven control, oven temperature sensor or the associated wiring. The sensor measures the temperature inside the oven. If your oven gets too hot, we would recommend checking the temperature sensor, part number PS11748765, to fix the issue. Oven will not get hot anymore? It worked fine before i did the self clean on the oven and after it went through that the next day it will not get hot at all when you try to bake. What would be the issue or part that has gone bad?

I broke the Bake Element while cleaning the oven.
I removed the two screws that held the bake element in place. Next I removed the Bake Element. I had to unscrew the oven to go behind it because when one piece off of the element broke, it slide back behind the oven. I pushed the wire back thru the piece holes, connected the Element, and pushed the element with the wires back through the

No heat after cleaning oven
This built-in oven was slid out of it's space and set on a box. I removed the back cover with nut driver and located the safety overload device. removed nuts and used pliers to remove wires and replace them. Bottom Oven Element Wasn't Working
It was easy to remove the old element. It only required the removal of two screws and pulling apart the electric connectors. It was just as simple to install the new one.
