Hello, we recently brought our first home . in it we have your oven.. the problem is its got a reoccurring error E6 F2. Being that its our first home and my husband is in the army and currently away on drill, im at a loss on whats wrong - money currently is tight so we cant just replace it, but ive read up on the net saying it could be an error code - so hopefully a cheap fix.. could you please help me look up what it wrong. I understand its a very cheekie thing to ask you.. but if helps - we have said when replace kitchen in 18 months - that we love the washer dryer here ( also whirlpool ) so much we wil more likely go completely appliances from your company (( ok that reads like i am kissin a** but i am .. we desprately need oven to work )) many thanks for your time, Kelliann

Hi Kelliann, thank you for contacting us. According to our research, the error code E6 F2 usually indicates an issue with the electronic control board, part number PS11745841. We would suggest resetting the oven before moving toward part repair or replacement. Power the unit down by turning off the circuit breaker for one minute. Then, power the unit up by turning on the circuit breaker. Monitor the oven for one minute to ensure the error code does not display again. If the issue remains, we would suggest checking the continuity of the control board using a multimeter. We hope this information helps!
I removed the two screws that held the bake element in place. Next I removed the Bake Element. I had to unscrew the oven to go behind it because when one piece off of the element broke, it slide back behind the oven. It was easy to remove the old element. It only required the removal of two screws and pulling apart the electric connectors. It was just as simple to install the new one.
