freezer does not work at full compacity
For model number RB215LABP
Hello Jim, thank you for your inquiry. According to our research, we would recommend checking the freezer door gasket for any damage. If the gasket is fine, then the issue is most probably with the temperature sensor, part number PS4138681. It senses the temperature inside the refrigerator and sends information to the electronic control. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. Glad to be of assistance!
Have not done installation yet. Trying to figure out what to do since the part did not come with the plastic cover to go in front of the LED temp readouts. Part does no good without the cover.
Unplugged and defrosted the unit. Took the back off. Unplugged the heater element. Plugged new part in and replaced back. Plugged fridge in checked next morning. All good
