unit will NOT run with cover on blows white smoke !!
OPEN cover & unit runs fine !! lower cover back down &
unit blows white smoke & turns off e1 error !
if cover in left open 1-1.5" will keep running fine !

Hi Glen, thank you for reaching out. According to our research, restricted airflow due to a faulty or clogged filter is a very common cause of improper combustion, white smoke, and safety shutdowns. You may need to replace the air filter assembly, part number PS10469007. We hope this helps.
