Why does the all ice not stay in the ice drawer and some falls out the back of the ice drawer. I am not sure it knows when it is full.

Hi Betty, thank you for reaching out. Ice falls out the back of the ice drawer because the ice maker control arm is not in the proper position or the ice bin is not seated correctly. If they are fine, then there's a fault in the ice maker itself, like a worn gear or a freezing issue. Its part number is PS17834128. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope this solves your problem!

freezer temperature was warm, but freezer evaporator frozen
unplugged the electrical connection from the wall, took out the top and bottom shelves from the freezer (freezer located in the lower part of fridge)
took out the freezer door by unscrewing 4 screws (2 on the right 2 on the left) unscrew 2 screws on the back panel, unplugged the fan cables to uncover the evaporator, disconnected the ... Read more thermistor, cut the wire about 1/2 inch, unhooked and unplugged the defrost heater, unscrew 1 screw.
with 2 Splice Lock Wire Terminals connected the new thermistor with the old thermistor wires and placed it back to the evaporator.
placed the new defrost heater to the bottom of the evaporator, screwed 1 screw back and plugged it back.
