Microwave turntable would not turn
My Panasonic Microwave (Inverter type) turntable would not turn. Saw some basic repairs on YouTube. Access to motor was not as easy, had to saw-off motor cover at the bottom of the microwave, after removing the motor cover removed the electrical leads to the motor, replaced with the new motor, put the leads back. Now to remove the motor you need to first remove electrical plug from the socket, remove glass plate and plastics adapter.

Dead motor
Very simple. Cut away the bottom panel. Removed the single screw. The old motors can cause a dngerous shock (according to the Net)so I wore thin rubber gloves and used needle-nose pliers with insulated handles. Removed slip-on contacts. Reversed procedure to replace motor. It took me longer to find a self-tapping screw than to replace the mtor. All finished in less than 10 minutes.
