When I press the start button my lid is not locking. Once I get it to lock it will wash half of the time and then the lid unlocks and stop the washer from washing. Is this fixable if so is there a DIY video to replace the lock.

Hi Georgette, thank you for reaching out. We would recommend checking the lid lock assembly, part number PS11731620, to solve the issue. We have included a link to one of our YouTube videos that you may reference on how to install the lid switch. The washer in the video may appear different from yours, but it will give you a general idea on how to install the part. We hope this helps with the repair!

What makes the washer stop sensing and starting a load
For model number MVWB765FC2
PartSelect logo
Hi Georgette, thank you for contacting us. Based on our research, the issue of sensing improperly is due to a malfunctioning water inlet valve, part number PS12348013. The water inlet valve requires at least 20 psi to function properly. Replacing the malfunctioning valve after checking whether it is clogged, can resolve the problem. If the problem still exists, try to replace the control board, part number PS12347691. We hope this helps!

Scratches in Surface
This product comes in a bottle with a brush like Liquid Paper. It goes on incredibly easy. A second coat might be needed. I wanted to prevent rust from setting in so I covered the scratches and dings. The paint is a little brighter since my washer is 10 years old but it still looks great.
