What causes the defrost pan overfills every 2-3 days?
For model number MSF25C2EXW00
Hello Isidoro, Thank you for your inquiry. The water is normally evaporated by heat from the condenser, evaporator and fan motor. Check your condenser PS2324188, evaporator PS11739134, and the condenser fan motor PS1957416 to make sure they are giving off enough heat to evaporate any condensation. You can also test these parts with a multimeter. Also check the drain fitting, drain pan and lines for any clogs or cracks. If all of these parts test ok, then check the defrost heater PS11740459, thermostat PS11750673 and control board PS11753802. Hope this helps.

water leaking into ice cube storage dispenser causing ice cubes to freeze together and forming ice block on bottom of ice dispenser.
what parts do i need?
For model number MSF25C2EXW00
Hi Lois,
Thank you for your question. If water is leaking into the ice cube storage bin, you will need to check the water lines to see if they are fitted correctly and to see if they are cracked or damaged. Check the ice maker for a buildup of ice. If there is buildup of ice, this may cause water to leak into the bin and you will need to unthaw it. You may need to check the water pressure in your home. If the water pressure is too high or too low, it can cause water to leak into the ice bin. Water pressure should be between 20 and 120 PSI. If you use a water filter in your refrigerator, it should be between 40-120 PSI. Low water pressure can prevent the water inlet valve from closing and cause water to drip and leak into the bin. If the water pressure is above 120 PSI, it can cause too much water to come out. If the water pressure is too high or too low, you will need to have your water company or a plumber come out and see what is causing the issue. Check for a clogged drainage tube. Also check and make sure that the ice maker is level and that the fill valve and cup are aligned correctly. If you have any questions, please let us know. We are open 7 days a week. We look forward to hearing from you!

Can a plugged water filter cause no ice but still have drinking water
For model number MSF25C2EXW00
Hi Steve, thank you for the question. A clogged water filter affects both the ice maker and the water dispenser function. The water filter is not the cause, since water can still be dispensed from the door. We would recommend checking the water inlet valve, part number PS3497634, to fix the issue. We hope this helps, good luck with the repair!
