The bottom broiler element does not work no electricity going to it we tested it and had continuity . What do you suggest
For model number MRES30S
Hello Mike, thank you for your question. If the broil element will not work, but the element itself is good the issue would be with the range oven control board. Unfortunately, that part has been discontinued by the manufacturer and is no longer available. My suggestion here would be to call the manufacturer and see if they can provide you with a substitution for these part numbers. We hope this helps!

The bottom element in our oven stopped heating. All other features on the oven and cooktop continue working well. We had a technician check it. His conclusion was that the central control unit (not the heating element itself) was defective. This part is no longer manufactured by Dacor. Is there a source for a reliable remanufactured control unit that would work with this model, or new old stock?

Temp sensor is failing
I did not do the repair since the part shipped was not the correct one. I have contacted Customer Service by phone and mail and nothing has been resolved.
I would, at least, like to return the incorrect part. An new one would be great but not holding out hope.

the oven didn't heat up on bake
didn't know if this was going to fix it, but i ordered a bake element anyway from a very frendly and knowledgeable lady in nova scotia whom i couldn't talk into coming down here to install it for me, but when the element arrived, i removed the oven door and removed the two grates, removed 2 screws from the element in the back of the oven

and pulled out the element. then hooked up the 2 wires to the new element and then had a slight problem getting the 2 screws reassembled, but got it done. pam prayed, and then baked some bread and it worked perfectly. i'm quite satisfied with one more problem solved!!! ready for the next one!!!
