Unit started to turn the opposite direction when you opened the door. Then it stopped working. Then it started to work again and quit working.

Hello Mike, Thank you for the question. You will need to remove the screws from the bottom plate on the underside of the appliance. There will be one screw and a small tab hold the motor drive in place. Remove the two wires from the motor and connect to the new motor. Replace the motor with the tab and screw and replace the bottom plate. Hope this helps!

Using kitchen timer and that whole unit just shut off no power

Have you checked your breaker panel in your house if the unit possibly tripped the breaker? If that is all ok, make sure to check the power cord. If that seems ok the next thing to check is the line fuse in your unit. We hope this helps. Please contact us anytime if you require further assistance.

The light was blinking sparking

Hello Charlotte, thank you for writing. A microwave flashing from the inside could be the sign of a dirty or faulty metal wave guide( stirrer) cover inside your appliance. Why a tenant would remove and discard the grease filters without replacing them is beyond me! But, I removed the filters from the package and slid them into place. Two minutes tops. I would like to add that I ordered these on Thursday afternoon, and I had them on Saturday; awesome customer service!
Removed control panel, discharged HV capacitor. Removed old diode, tested to confirm failure. Replaced part. Other than the removal of the panel swapping the part was almost as easy as replacing a light bulb.
I removed the outer cover and exposed the inner workings. I watched a video on partselect.com to show how to remove and replace the Diode. I followed the instructions and it was very easy to replace.
Unfortunately, the diode was only part of the issue. I ended up replacing the High Voltage capacitor and Magnetron also. Those w
... Read moreere a little more complicated but still easy to do.
Now the Microwave works just like new! Cost me less than $100 for all parts.
